At the speed with which events arise every day, to say that two years ago INTI brought together the main players in the Argentine metallurgical industry and the most important hot-dip galvanizing companies to coordinate actions and supply the new photovoltaic market, it seems information from the last century. Unfortunately, despite the best goodwill and financial efforts of all parties involved, the feeling was that the value chain could meet the necessary quantities but not meet the price requirements demanded by this new industry. Neither the benefits of scale nor the incentives of the State were sufficient to balance the values, which put us all in the obligation to develop a new technology that would allow us to grow in this segment, replacing imports of structures that we can manufacture in Argentina . I am proud to work in TDL SA, an Argentine SME, an Argentine team, in which we believe that thinking, giving service and never giving up, are the pillars on which our growth must be based ... and that is how IDERO Solar, a Unit of innovative Business with which we offer the market the first 100% Argentine tracker, of which we have already successfully installed 60 in Mendoza for PASIP. In addition, the EPSE is in the process of assembling 114 of them for its photovoltaic project in San Juan. A Business Unit with which we imagine that our products could be manufactured with more efficient materials and today we have a line of solar supports with Magnelis Steel, which is more resistant to corrosion. This allows us to offer world-class products at a price that enables us to compete in a fixed support project in Europe and to be the best option for another 50 in Argentina that require one of our more than 30 solutions… and we still think of more! It is not easy, it never was and it never will be… but despite everything, I still believe that the Argentine Industry, for the good of our families and our country, is about to get up again and fight another round.
